Power to Choose
The power to choose…
We live in a world with so much choice and God has given us the ability to choose.
“‘choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD’”
As we daily, sometimes, moment by moment choose to make Godly choices this is where we are transformed into Christ’s likeness.
It is in the consistent, everyday decisions that bring our transformation about as we tune in and are obedient to the Spirits led.
“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
Transformation will never happen without time and intentionality; it needs both.
Time without intention may bring awareness, but no real change.
Intention without time can lead to mere self-effort, remaining shallow and a burden.
Too often we can assume responsibility for our transformation, when that belongs to the Lord; but we abdicate responsibility for our choices, and those remain solely in our hands.
Let us daily choose to serve the Lord in our actions.
