Where do you meet?

The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 8SR.

What time does it start?

10:30am and aim to finish around midday, when fresh coffee is served! Sometimes we meet in the evening, please check here.

For the evening gatherings you may park in Trinity Methodist Church, but please avoid the ‘reserved’ bays and the ones with posts up.

Where can I park?

There is a small car park at The Sarum Hill Centre, or the ‘pay and display’ car park at the top of Sarum Hill. Other car parks can be found here.

What will happen when I arrive?

You will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. They will be happy to introduce you to some people in the church and answer any questions you may have.

Is there a dress code?

No, come in whatever you feel comfortable in.

Where should I sit?

None of our seats are reserved, so you are welcome to sit wherever you feel most comfortable.

Are there any Bibles available

Yes, although most people bring their own Bible, or use a Bible App! We do have a few spare Bibles around for your use.

Will there be Communion?

We have Communion (also known as Eucharist or Breaking Bread) at least once a month, which you are very welcome to participate in if you are a Christian. We serve bread (Gluten free option available) and non-alcoholic fruit juice. This is either passed around or done at ‘stations’ around the room. Children who understand the meaning of Communion and who have their own relationship with God are welcome to join in.

What type of songs do you sing?

A band lead us in sung worship and play a mixture of old and new songs. The words are projected at the front. We welcome everybody taking part so sometimes we may sing spontaneous songs. As a Charismatic church we love to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit too! If you don’t know the songs that’s fine, feel free just to listen!

Are there any disabled facilities?

There is one disabled parking space in the car park. There is also a disabled toilet and lift to access the whole building.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes, a fold-down changing mat can be located in the disabled toilet in the foyer.

Are there any groups for Children?

Yes, we provide a crèche for children up to the age of 3 (11am until 12midday).

For children aged 3-10 we run a group called Hope Kids (11am until 12midday).

For those in school year 6+ we run Hope Youth, (11:15am until 12midday).

If you would like to know more about these groups either contact one of the groups or ask a member of the Welcome Team.

Do you take a Collection?

You are, of course, not expected to give anything. We believe in providing a non-pressured environment for giving. Most of our people give a ‘tithe’ (10% of income). This is done on the first Sunday of the month whilst others give electronically. If you wish to give there is usually a basket at the back of the hall.

What happens at the end?

Free refreshments (fresh coffee/tea and juice for children) are served every week (Gluten free option available). You are most welcome to stay and have a chat. You will also be able to receive prayer should you wish to do so from our ‘Ministry Team’. Please speak to one of the leaders about it.
