Who is Jesus?

Jesus was born just over 2,000 years ago in a small Middle Eastern town called Bethlehem…

When he was about 30 he began teaching people about God and healing the sick.

He had no money. He wrote no books. He commanded no army. He had no political power.

And yet, he was executed by being nailed to a cross at the age of 33.

Jesus said that three days after his death he would be raised to life again, and that’s what happened!

Jesus said that he was the way to God.

He taught that God is holy – perfectly pure and good – and that what stops us knowing God is the wrong things we do: our sin.

None of us is good enough, and there’s nothing we can do to make ourselves acceptable to God.

But the Bible says the good news for everyone in the world is that Jesus has paid the price for our sin.

When he was killed on the cross, he was taking our place, so we could go free.

Today, Jesus offers everyone the chance to start life again, accepted by God and able to have a close and loving relationship with him!
