Who is the Holy Spirit?
Beaming live again from our new 'studio'! Abi Bastin joined her Dad Gary as co-host. We said goodbye to Jones family blessing on their way. Max Phillips gently led us in worship before guest Theologian Dave Perry, all the way from Canada, to give us a biblical overview of the Holy Spirit in our 'Spirit Filled Church' series! To conclude our morning Wunmi Olopade guided us through the Lord’s Prayer.
Questions for small groups
Identify one way it should make a difference for us that the Spirit is person.
Name one thing you need the Spirit to “search the depths” for on your behalf. (Wisdom, solutions, perspective…).
David was anointed with the Spirit and then faced a crisis: Goliath. At this point in your life, what is your “Goliath”?
Ponder this sentence, and tell your group what you’d put into the blank: “By faith I believe that by the enabling of the Spirit I can have victory over my Goliath of ______________.”
